Google Maps

Our website uses Google Maps for displaying of our location as well as for creation of a route description. This is a service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, subsequently referred to only as "Google".

Through certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield

Google guarantees that the data protection requirements applicable within the EU are complied with when processing data in the USA.

In order to enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection with the Google server in the USA is established as soon as you call up our website.

If you call up the Google Maps component integrated in our website, Google will place a cookie on your terminal device through your browser. To display our location and to create a route description, your user settings and data will be processed. In this context, we cannot rule out Google using servers in the USA.

The legal basis in this case is Art. 6 (1) point (f) of the GDPR. Our justified interest lies in the optimisation of the functionality of our website.

The connection to Google established in this way enables Google to determine from which website your enquiry has been sent and to which IP address the route description is to be sent.

In case you disagree with such processing, you have the option of preventing the installation of cookies by changing the browser settings accordingly. For details on this topic, please refer to the "Cookies" section above.

In addition, the use of Google Maps as well as the information obtained via Google Maps is carried out in accordance with the Google Maps Terms of Use "policies.google.com/terms" and the Google Maps General Terms and Conditions https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

At

Google provides further information, in particular on the possibilities of preventing the use of data.

YouTube

On our website we use YouTube. This is a video portal operated by YouTube LLC., 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, hereinafter referred to only as "YouTube".

We use YouTube in connection with the "privacy-enhanced mode" feature to be able to show you videos. The legal basis in this case is Art. 6 (1) point (f) of the GDPR. Our justified interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the "privacy-enhanced mode" function results in the data described in more detail below to only be transmitted to the YouTube server after you have actually started playing a video.

Without this "privacy-enhanced mode" a connection to the server of YouTube in the USA will be established immediately when you access one of our webpages that has a YouTube video embedded in it.
